Hey there! My name is Cheryl and I am glad you stopped by to read my blog!
This about page has had me pretty puzzled for quite a while now. Who am I and what am I writing about? That’s a HUGE question! Well, I have been married for 11+ years (to a fantastic man) and have 2 fun loving and busy children AND one on the way (May 2013). Teaching fitness has been my passion for about 4 years..especially Zumba , Les Mills programs and personal training. After declaring my hatred for running, I ran my first race 4 years ago. This race changed my idea of running and opened the door for completing more races. I even crossed over into Sprint Triathlons. You could say that I am hooked!
On my journey to becoming healthy in all areas, I decided to over haul my eating. My husband and I were stuck in the rut of grilled chicken and broccoli and grabbing kids’ snacks on the side. I knew an intervention needed to happen. After being inspired by many healthy living blogs, I started this blog to keep us accountable and help us try new things. We have since broadened our FRESH horizons and the boxes of cheez-its are LONG GONE!
We are continually evolving, which led me to our biggest adventure: moving this VERY Southern family to New Hampshire. I mean my daughter has a double name for heaven’s sake. I have now officially survived my first REAL New England winter. The family has even become skiers! Hopefully I can encourage you all in different stages of life, just as you all encourage me.

imaginative 6 year old. loves all things horses, princess and pink. prefers to speak in Spanish. aspiring Rockette, Lord help us all.
