Catching Up

Wow, 3 months.  Where has the time gone and where did I go?

Well, as I headed into the last month of studying for my NASM CPT certification, I had to cut most of my “free time.”  When I wasn’t with the family, I was studying flash cards, NASM phone apps, reading my HUGE text book, or taking practice exams.  All of that work paid off as I saw the word PASSED on my computer screen.

In the midst of final exam preparation, we found out that we will be having a 5th addition to our family.

I cannot tell you our surprise and excitement!  Clearly the Lord has a plan for us that we weren’t even aware of.  Not long after finding out, the “morning” sickness began and eating super healthy wasn’t even an option.  Good thing you weren’t reading my recipe posts: Bagels and Cream Cheese, Blueberry Muffins, and Cereal.  Yes, those were my staples ….even at dinner!  The thought of salad and green veggies made me gag and cooking went out the window.  Thank goodness for B, who kept the kiddos well fed.

To add another layer to life, we moved to a new home. 2.5 acres, 4 miles from the ocean, and in a neighborhood.  Have I mentioned it’s a little slice of heaven? Here’s a picture of the front yard:

Several of you have asked for pics, but those will have to wait.  We are in the midst of construction and renovation, so I am waiting for before and afters.

So, that about catches us all up.  No complaints, but what a crazy journey!  As we head into the Christmas season, the word BLESSED comes to mind.  I can complain all day about uncertainties, but in the end…I am grateful.  Truly grateful that God has us in His hand.

I plan to update Live Fit Daily several times a week, so check back for updates.  Personal Training business is being launched and the cooks are back in the kitchen!
