Well, time flew by as I was writing my last post and I had to do kid duty. A good friend of mine reminded me that I should probably write why I love these oats! Here are a few fun facts: They are low in calories and fat and high in fiber. Both insoluble and soluble fiber help the body with digestion and slow the process of digesting carbohydrates. Steel cut oats, or oats in general, help with keeping a low cholesterol. They are minimally processed and have very low sugar.
It takes two servings of instant oatmeal to fill me up and only one serving of these oats to satisfy!
