And the morning is done. Where did the time go?
So, I am a poster child for why you should floss EVERY DAY. Yesterday, I had 3 hours (yes 3) of dental work. Crown, filling…holy moly. I can hardly open my jaw today. As soon as I got home, I had a BIG conversation with the little Mosleys on taking care of your teeth. I think they flossed twice last night. Teach your children young–it pays off!
On to happier things: Last night’s dinner was a SUCCESS! Sesame Noodles by Aggie’s Kitchen. Such a success that I ate it again for lunch!
This is such a great dinner for everyone. I know you are thinking, “My kids would NEVER eat that.” Well, mine don’t either–but I refuse to make two separate meals.
Parents’ Meal: Noodle dish (seriously, take the time to read the recipe)
Kids meal: Spaghetti noodles, edamame (separated out), bell peppers (separated out).
We serve this dish cold and find it perfect for the August heat. Another benefit–you can make this ahead! One warning, be careful on how much of the sesame oil you add. You can always add more…but you can’t take it off.
Happy Hump Day!

Cheryl, you should add TJ’s Satay Peanut sauce to it – it’s super yummy & i always add it to the Spicy (even tho it’s not spicy at all) Thai Style Pasta salad w/Chicken breast that i buy @ TJ’s as well…it has julienne carrots, black sesame seeds and scallions with wheat angel hair pasta. making me hungry!! ck it out….
oh and about the flossing – i used to be fanatical about it…not so much anymore but i use the Aquafresh Isoactive toothpaste that really gets the gunk between your teeth – plaque & bacteria with it’s foaming action…
Just fed this to the family. We LOVED it. I added leftover Asian flank steak to my husband’s (cuz it’s not a meal in his eyes if it doesn’t have meat), and served it to the kids much like you did yours (deconstructed). And all I needed to pick up was cabbage and scallions!
Great idea to add steak to it. So glad your family liked it!
